How do I get on the waiting list for a puppy? Here at Prairie Puppies, we have a special process for adopting dogs. We do not keep a waiting list. If you see a litter you are wanting to adopt from, please put your deposit down for that litter if there are any spots left for adoption on the website. However, if there are not currently any puppies available to adopt, we reccommend getting on our mailing list so you will receive notification once we are about to post dogs to our website. This will allow you to be one of the first purchasers to place your deposit down allowing you to have priority upon choosing your puppy. Once the dogs are posted to the webiste, it's first come first serve. You may place your deposit down for the litter selection you are interested in. Once the entire litter has been fully adopted we will notify you of your order in selecting your puppy, along with some necessary information about what is to take place next.

Do you allow outside dogs to breed to your dogs?Prairie Puppies is an exclusive Goldendoodle and Retriever breeder that only allows for the breeding of our own Prairie Puppies. We are very selective when we purchase our dogs for breeding, and do not allow any outside breeding. Our Goldendoodles And Retrievers are very special to us and we treat them like family. Their health and happiness is our greatest concern and we do not want to do anything to jeapordize their safety. Thank you for understanding.

What size Goldendoodles do you breed? Here at Prairie Puppies, we breed dogs that range in size from mini to medium. However, please note that we cannot guarantee the exact size that your newly adopted puppy will grow in to. We can tell you the size of the Sire and Dam, and the size that we expect your puppy to be but cannot guarantee with 100% accuracy their weight at full growth.

Can I come out and look at Prairie Puppies' Goldendoodles before I purchase?Great question! Prairie Puppies works hard at keeping our dogs safe and healthy. While we would love to give tours and allow for visitors we must maintain a closed facility to ensure the safety of our dogs. We do try our best to post as many pictures and videos as possible to allow viewers to see the Goldendoodles and Retrievers in their finest moments. Thank you for your understanding.

When will I receive my puppy after I place my deposit? We know you are so excited to bring home your new furry friend, and we are excited for you! It's important that our puppies get the best start to life after their born, so they will stay with their mom for 8 weeks after delivery to ensure they receive the proper nutrition from their mothers milk. This also allows us to give them their first sets of vaccinations.

What if I change my mind after I place my deposit? We want to ensure our puppies get adopted into a loving home. Owning an animal requires time, patience and financial obligations. Please understand that once your place your deposit down for one of our Prairie Puppies we will begin a screening process that ensures us that our puppies will be adopted out to a home capable of producing the commitment essential for owning a dog. You are also agreeing that you have read our Purchase Agreement and agree to those terms listed. If we do not feel comfortable placing one of our puppies in your care we hold the right to refuse service and issue your deposit back to you. All other deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred towards another litter on a one time occasion, so please commit responsibly. Please see our Purchase Agreement page for more information.

Do you travel to deliver purchased puppies?Prairie Puppies will gladly discuss travel arrangements for you to pick up your new furry friend. While we do not ship our dogs via commercial airlines, we will consider delivery. Please contact us for further information. Thanks!
